For the fiscal year ended 31 August 2007, the company generated net revenues of US$19.70 billion. Accenture's clients include 94 of the Fortune Global 100 and more than two-thirds of the Fortune Global 500.
Although a marketing consultancy was tasked with finding a new name for the company, the name "Accenture" was submitted by an employee from the Oslo office named Kim Petersen, as a result of an internal competition.
